FULL DIGITAL SERVICE:
It doesn't get better than this. We have the latest state-of-the-art technology behind us, including brand new equipment and most importantly, pure digital. Our full digital dial-up connection will make a difference in terms of reliability, speed, and accessibility.

DIAL-UP ACCESS:
clearcall.net offers individual dialup accounts for 9600-56k(x2/v.90) modems and single/dual channel ISDN connections. The limited account restricts interactive usage (the amount of time you can spend on the internet) to ten hours per month. Unlimited Accounts include unlimited interactive usage, full internet access, an email account, and space for a personal web page. There are two different unlimited personal dial-up accounts available:

NORMAL PERSONAL ACCOUNTS:
Your membership includes an Internet account which can be used for Web browsing, email, and other online activities, including 1MB of storage for a personal home page. You will receive all the software you need to access the Internet. You can be billed monthly, quarterly, semi-yearly, or annual. See chart below.

A software starter package is provided for Windows 3.1x, Windows 95/98/NT, and Macintosh users. Most commercial, shareware, and freeware internet software will work with the clearcall.net internet accounts.

Local access number is available in the greater Indianapolis area.

Our staff has been serving area businesses since the mid-seventies, and we understand the value of excellent consultative sales. That's why when we say "connection", we mean full digital connection. When we say web hosting, we mean access to site administration tools. The benefit of working with clearcall.net is not just digital service and low hosting prices.

clearcall.net offers full-time dial-up connections that are suitable for small organizations that need full-time access to the Internet but does not need a lot of bandwidth.

Our web servers run on the latest, most state-of-the-art equipment and operating systems, employing up-to-date technology to ensure that web services are never constrained by server bottlenecks.

SITE ADMINISTRATION:
In order to maintain a web site, you need more than space allocated on a file server. At clearcall.net, we provide you with the site administration tools you need, including:

File Transfer Protocol:
You'll receive an FTP account (if you request) which allows you to treat your allocated portion of the web server as your own... creating directories, maintaining backup procedures, deleting obsolete files. . . whatever you need. Of course this account will be secured so only can control who maintains the site.

Unlimited Newsgroup Access:
Marketing is the name of the game if you want your website to be effective. USENET Newsgroups are an excellent marketing tool, and we'll make sure you have full access to them.

Basic CGI (Common Gateway Interface) Services:
These days almost anyone, given the right software, can publish a web page. But if you want your web site do work for you, most likely you will need to utilize CGI, a standard for running external programs from your host server. CGI specifies how to pass arguments from HTML to various programs. The CGI program can, for example, access information in a database and format the results as HTML. Most web hosting companies require all CGI programs to reside in a special directory, often "/cgi-bin ", then charge you extra to access that directory from your web site.

Not clearcall.net. We feel there are some CGI services which, since you already set them up and they are "generic", can be shared with everybody... for free! If you sign up for our web hosting, we will provide the following basic CGI services for free:

 

DOMAIN NAME SERVICES:
We can provide the following domain services, some of which are included in your web hosting account, if you sign up for one.

Register Company Name with InterNIC (www.yourcompany.com)

Determine availability of your proposed domain name
(sometimes they are already registered).

Provide an "under construction" home page.

"Drop Box" forwarding of email (virtual email account).

Direct Multiple Domain Names to a single location.

THROUGHPUT RESTRICTIONS:
Since we all end up paying by the bandwidth, restrictions are always placed on web hosting in terms of what is known as Storage and Throughput. Web page site usage is measured by the amount of data stored on the site, the number of visits and the amount of data transferred.

We find our throughput restrictions to be very liberal. In fact, most of our customers will be more than thrilled if web activity exceeds our throughput restrictions.

Our site-hosting fee includes five megabytes of on-site storage and one unit of throughput service. Each unit of throughput service provides:

LIMITED ACCOUNTS:
For those of you who just do not surf that regularly, or who want a continuous email connection in the Indianapolis area without full internet service, we offer a limited account. This account provides up to 10 hours of service per month for $9.95. Any extra usage will be billed at 99 cents per hour. You still get digital service, and this service is offered to all modem types (including ISDN's, though the fee is per ISDN channel).
